There are two Functional Core Courses, one on Tuesdays and the other on Thursdays. You can book either or both. The class starts with a challenging cardio, you work to your own level, but no slacking! Next is the core strength section, the main goal of which is to strengthen the core muscles of the pelvis, deep abdominals, lower back and hips, to train them to work as a balanced stable unit. The class ends with the stretch section. This is a progressive course, hence it requires booking the block of classes. The essential equipment, a mat, hand weights of 1kg or 1.5kg, and ankle weights of 1kg or 1.5Kg. Optional equipment is a Swiss ball, a foam roller and 2Kg hand weights, as I will offer certain exercises using these. However, if you don’t have these items, I’ll also be providing alternative exercises at the same time. Spaces are limited for this course
